The CMDA Psychiatry Section will host Booth Number 1453 in the exhibit hall. We will sponsor a Saturday evening meet and greet, coordination for church on Sunday morning, an evening banquet and breakfast meetings for fellowship and encouragement.
CMDA Psychiatry Section opportunities for fellowship and learning at APA include:
- Meeting at our Psychiatry Section exhibit booth Number 1453.
- Saturday Evening Meet and Greet at local restaurant (6:30pm meet in Handerly Hotel Lobby)
- Sunday Morning Fellowship and Church Attendance (TBD)
- Dinner Banquet and Program – Monday Evening, 6:30pm – 9:00pm (Soma Restaurant)
- Breakfast and Discussion – Monday – Discussion on Psychiatry, the Church and East versus West Coast Perspectives; Gathering and fellowship, Tuesday – Case discussions, (7:00am – 8:15am, at the Zevi Cafe)., Wednesday (Cancelled) – Breakfast on your own to allow attendance of APA Presentations provided by Sam Thielman and John Peteet.

Additional Opportunities for Faith and Practice Encouragement at APA In addition to our events, several members of the Psychiatry Section and others are presenting at APA and would be honored by your attendance and support: Additional details regarding presentation topics and date and time of presentations will be provided at a later date.
Breakfast cost at Zevi Café and Bistro: $25/person in Private Dining Room and American and International Menu Dinner cost at Soma Restaurant: $75.00/person in Private Dining Room and Mediterranean Menu.
We will have a brief presentation by our sponsored resident and a presentation by Dr Donna Ames on a Holistic Biopsychosocial Spiritual Approach to Recovery from Mental Illness with extended discussion afterwards. See Below for More Information and Applying.
Rooms are still available at the Handerly Hotel (351 Geary St) – 13 minute walk from convention center. Reserve rooms through the APA website or take one of the rooms Marshall has reserved.
